Operations Associate

Dallas, TX

We are seeking a full-time Operations Associate for our corporate operations team supporting clients in the DFW Area.

This position handles a variety of medical office liaison duties including, but not limited to, monitoring operations for multiple practices, ensuring business goals are being met and leading a team of practice managers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with the interdisciplinary departments of the organization to ensure our clients and their practices are being supported and performing at or above their goals
  • Meeting with Practice Managers and physicians monthly to discuss operational concerns and issues
  • Working with corporate team and client to resolve all outstanding matters timely and efficiently
  • Supporting all other tasks required by Practice Managers or physicians
  • Supporting daily office operations of physician clients with support from corporate departments
  • Escalating client concerns to the appropriate department leaders as appropriate to ensure client needs are being met in a timely manner
  • Assisting Practice Managers or physicians with the development and implementation of short- and long-term work plans
  • Assisting Practice Managers in understanding/implementing clinic policies and procedures
  • Supporting Practice Managers in establishing deadlines for work assignment and completion
  • Monitoring work status and progress
  • Assisting with supervision of practice-based staff as requested
  • Maintaining detailed knowledge of practice management and other computer software as it relates to job functions
  • Protecting patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols
  • Adhering to and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures
  • Understanding and adhering to HIPAA policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Frequent travel throughout the DFW metroplex.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 5 years of experience with increasing responsibility in a healthcare-related field (preferably in medical practice management)
  • 2-3 years in a supervisory/management position at a healthcare practice
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • EMR experience required; E-Clinical Works and/or Athena preferred
  • Proven project management experience required
  • Ability to handle stressful situations in a professional manner
  • Ability to set priorities and work independently while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
  • Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism with a commitment to client/patient satisfaction
  • Willing and able to travel to an assigned location using a personal vehicle required
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver license, and proof of Texas minimum vehicle liability insurance coverage required

Schedule: Full-Time Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Typical hours that change depending on business needs).
