We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Echocardiography Technician to join our innovative and growing cardiology practice, serving the Dallas and Rockwall areas. This is a great opportunity to have a role in an outpatient environment with a friendly schedule supportive of work/life balance.

As a core part of the diagnostic imaging team, this role is primarily responsible for performing high-quality echocardiograms and providing essential data to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. You’ll work alongside leading cardiologists using state-of-the-art ultrasound systems in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Connected Cardiovascular Care Associates (C3) is a leading cardiovascular practice led by Dr. Tony Das, a nationally recognized Interventional Cardiologist. We specialize in all aspects of cardiovascular care including coronary, vascular, structural, heart failure, electrophysiology and preventive cardiology. Essential Functions:

  • Perform diagnostic-quality echocardiograms, including 2D, M-mode, and Doppler studies.
  • Perform stress echocardiograms and other specialized cardiac ultrasound procedures.
  • Prepare and position patients for exams, obtaining relevant history and explaining procedures.
  • Operate, maintain, and calibrate ultrasound and echocardiography equipment.
  • Analyze and capture images of cardiac structures and function, identifying abnormalities.
  • Document exam findings in the EMR and transmit images via PACS for physician interpretation.
  • Create preliminary reports with findings in PACS.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and clinical team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any urgent needs or complications.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Educate patients about procedures and follow-up requirements as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related field.
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification required.
  • Current BLS / CPR certification.
  • Current ACLS certification.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of echocardiography experience preferred.
  • Strong technical understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both patients and staff.
  • Proficient with Electronic Medical Records, PACS, and DICOM viewing systems.
  • Must be capable of lifting patients and standing for extended periods.
  • High degree of professionalism, initiative, and attention to detail.

Schedule:

  • Monday-Thursday, 8 AM - 5 PM, and Friday, 8 AM - 3 PM. No weekends, holidays, or after hours, or call responsibilities.
  • This position would primarily support our Dallas location, but travel to our Rockwall area location will be required as frequently as 1 or 2 days a week.
