Bookkeeper (Part-Time, On-Site)

Dallas, TX

We are seeking a part-time on-site Bookkeeper for our corporate office located in Dallas, Texas off 635 and Abrams.

This position is responsible for full charge bookkeeping services for multiple client practices.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure that expenses are allocated and coded correctly
  • Pay any debt as it comes due for payment.
  • Ensure that receivables are collected promptly
  • Record receipts on a timely basis for cash flow analysis.
  • Conduct a monthly reconciliation of every bank account.
  • Conduct a monthly reconciliation of every credit card account.
  • Ensure that affiliate's accounts are reconciled and tie out.
  • Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy.
  • Issue financial statements.
  • Prepare cash forecast
  • Prepare and process client payroll per required pay cycles.
  • Assemble information for external tax preparer.
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.
  • Ensure that all filing requirements are met on a timely basis.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and client information.
  • Understand and adhere to HIPAA policies, procedures and regulations to ensure and maintain patient confidentiality.

 Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years' experience in full cycle accounting.
  • QuickBooks experience required.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong Payroll experience required.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work as a team player.
  • Ability to set priorities and work independently while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite


 Schedule: Part-Time Monday through Friday (final schedule will be agreed-upon with candidate). No weekends or after hours.
