Marketing Manager - Healthcare

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to develop and manage marketing programs in specific channels, support business objectives, foster customer retention, execute business development, provide sales support, and advance brand building for our clients and our company.

99 Healthcare Management is a Dallas-based physician practice management company. We help healthcare providers focus on their core skills – delivering high quality care to their patients - by providing oversight and support for all administrative functions. Our service areas include human resources, accounting, marketing and business development, provider credentialing, and revenue cycle management. The practices we manage range in size and specialty and include internal medicine, family medicine, pain management, cardiology, OBGYN, and more.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement marketing, advertising, and patient satisfaction campaigns for each practice by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts; preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; preparing marketing budgets; and updating calendars.
  • Meet regularly with practice managers, physicians, and mid-level providers and clients to review marketing efforts and develop marketing strategies. Provide regular reporting of marketing initiatives to clients and leadership.
  • Conduct field marketing on a weekly basis, visiting current and potential referral sources.
  • Prepare month-end reports; analyze monthly metrics and performance, and review referral reports to assess impact of marketing efforts and make course corrections as needed.
  • Research competitive services by identifying and evaluating product characteristics.
  • Plan meetings and events by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists.
  • Work with leadership on business-to-business marketing and brand management of 99MGMT as requested. Attend conferences and represent company at marketing events; assist with the coordination of marketing events and conferences as needed.
  • Supervise marketing staff. Follow up on delegated marketing responsibilities to ensure completion and result.
  • Understand current marketing trends by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications.
  • Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Attend required meetings and participates in training programs as required.
  • Understand and adhere to HIPAA policies, procedures and regulations to ensure and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related goals as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field. Master’s degree a plus.
  • At least five years of experience in a marketing management role, preferably in healthcare, and at  least two years of supervisory experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience building complex marketing programs and reporting on the results.
  • Exposure to digital and direct response marketing.
  • Competence in creative writing and editing with attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills
  • Familiar with web authoring and online marketing tools such as Wix and Hubspot.
  • Proficient in Adobe graphic design software.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, including metrics-driven thinking and strategy implementation.
  • Local travel 80% of time
